 YOUNG NIGERIAN BEAUTY QUEEN SET TO HOLD A SYMPOSIUM AGAINST RAPE

It is no news that rape is a punishable offence under the law however, the law is blind and would only punish that which can be proven with facts, figures and beyond readable doubts. The inability to prove a misdemeanor may eventually see the offender discharged and acquitted.

The reasons stated above in addition to the reality of stigma against rape victims have culminated the suffering in silence mechanism of many victims. It is also imperative to state that when the word rape is mentioned, many feel it's just female related.

These and more are the issues to be trashed at the symposium to be hosted by a young beauty queen in Akure Ondo state Nigeria.

Sarah odibah a 20 years old beauty Queen (Face of Jupiter) has taken upon herself to hold a symposium aimed at strengthening the victims of rape, letting them know they can, they should and how the need to speak up against this vice.

She would be teaming up with Mc Breezey who is a renowned event host and compere and a host of several beauty queens, organization and well meaning Nigerians to make this happen.

The program is slated for the 21st of October 2022.

The program is themed Kick Against Rape Everyday (KARE SYMPOSIUM)
